Doggles

Doggles are protective eyewear for dogs. They are actually goggles for dogs, hence the name. Unlike ordinary sunglasses for dogs, Doggles actually protect dog’s eyes from foreign objects, wind, and UV light.
They also offer K9 Optix Sunglasses. I'm going to order Callie the pink pair. She can totally rock them!

Dachshund Whirligig

Whirligig anyone? While browsing Doxieholic, I stumbled upon a whirligig. It's an interesting contraption, pretty cute though. When the wind blows the butterflies move and the doxie "barks". There is a video of the whirligig in action on the Doxieholic website.

Doxie Baby Blanket

I found a dachshund baby blanket on Etsy. I haven't ran across a pink one yet, but I'll let you know if I find one =) I'm sure Numagirl, the creator of these cute blankets, would make a pink one if you requested it. Here is the link to her page.

Scoopy Poo

This is a grand idea! The company Scoopy Poo will come to your house and pickup after your pup! "We’re the #1 pooper scooper service in the Twin Cities area for canine owners who have better things to doo than clean up their dog’s dirty business". I'm sold, I wish they had a service in Texas. If you are located in the Twin Cities area, look them up! Don't you love their car, so cute!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLIE!

Callie turned 2 today, such a big girl! I took her to PetSmart for some birthday shopping. When we got home she opened her present, which was too funny. I made the mistake of letting her get the rawhides out first. After she discovered those, she wasn't the least bit interested in getting the other toys out of the bag. Now that the rawhides are gone, she is really enjoying playing with her new frog. Callie also had a special birthday cupcake, that lasted about 2 seconds. I think that was definitely her favorite.

Happy Birthday Callie! Love you so much!

Superstar!

Today is day 6 of our cruise. Let me give you a quick recap of the past couple of days. Wednesday we stopped in the Caymans and did a little shopping. That night we went to the Ice Odyssey show. Yes, they have an ice skating rink on the boat. Well your never going to believe this, they asked me if I would be in the show! At the begining of the show they sat me in this throne and skated me around, then left me in the middle of the ice skating rink and skated around me. I was out there for like 10 minutes, that's a long time with a spot light on you! It was great though, I stood up and took a bow. Everyone really seemed to enjoy it, I got lots of compliments after the show. After the ice show we headed down to the Pig and Whistle for some Adult Day Care at Night. It's like a piano bar, but people from the audience sing (it's not regular kareoke). Shelly and I were asked to sing, we got stuck with Brittney Spears, Hit Me Baby One More Time. This is not our first time to sing. We sang at Adult Day Care at Night on our last cruise. Thursday was not such a great day for me, I was sick. We stopped in Jamaica that day, but I didn't get off. Now, moving on to today. Lounged by the pool all day, had some dinner, and played some SkipBo. Now we are headed down to the Pig and Whistle. I'll give more details and post some pics later, when I'm not being charged 55 cents a minute =) More to come!

Greetings From The Caribbean!

I am coming to you live from Voyager of the Seas! I wanted to give yall an update on my cruising adventure so far. For everyone who does not know, I'm on a cruise sailing to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. This is our second day on the cruise, we are at sea and will arrive at Cozumel tomorrow morning at 10am. Today we spent the day by the pool people watching. I was very excited to see a lady wearing a Wiener Dog hat! I'll have to find her again to ask where she bought it. Tonight was formal night. We had a wonderful dinner and now we are headed to "Adult Day Care at Night" (I'll save that for a later blog). Farewell for now!
