Naked Survivor!

I have never been a fan of survivor, but man am I glad I watched the season premiere. Let me just inform yall of a little something I found...HeHe. I was very intrigued with the doctor from Florida, Marcus Leman. Hello Hottie! I only noticed him because he was wearing tight fitting boxer briefs. Since when do the players compete in boxer briefs? Have I missed out on this all a long?! My original plan was to blog about the boxers, but while searching for a picture to post, I ran across something very interesting. During the first challenge Marcus' penis made a showing. Yes Ladies it was on tv in plain sight. CBS totally missed this one! I found a video and some pictures of the "great reveal". Here is the link. http://pinkisthenewblog.com/home/2008/09/survivor-gabon-brings-the-p33n/ I would post it, but I don't want to get in trouble for nudity. Anyway, thank goodness for Tivo, I had to rewind and watch it in slow motion. It is definitely on there. ENJOY!

Thank You Houston SPCA!

The Houston SPCA set up a temporary shelter on Galveston Island for stranded pets and individuals who needed food and medicine for pets. I'm so glad they set up a shelter to help the animals affected by Hurricane Ike! I was worried about the animals. Here are some great pictures!

Squirrels, ducks, and rabbits!

The cattle made it!

I love this picture! I don't agree with putting your dog in the boat while towing it, but it is a really cute picture.

That is one talented little dog =)

West End of Galveston

I have been searching for information on the the status of the west end. I have read on a couple different websites that reporters are not being allowed on the west end because it was hit the hardest? You would think that if it was hit the hardest they would show an aerial view at least! I hope this is false information. Then I found this quote, "We haven't even gotten to the west end, and I know the west end is totally devastated," City Manager Steve LeBlanc said. The city officials need to report the status, don't keep it from us! It is shady that there is no information on the west end at all. It makes you wonder what is really going on down there. I ran across an article written by a reporter who owns a house in Jamaica Beach. He stated that the row of houses and the road in front of his house were completely gone. This is not good news. Does this mean that the front row houses are gone?! These are the only pictures I have found of the west end of the island. I'm glad to see some houses standing! Thank you God! I just hope and pray that the houses further down are also standing.

This picture is of the seawall. That debris would be Murdochs, Hooters, Balinese Room, and the Mermaid Pier. Nice huh. It makes me sick!

***************UPDATE****************

I found an aerial view video of the West End! It starts at the San Luis Pass and scans the entire west end. It is kind of hard to tell the areas if you are not familiar, but at least it is something! Here is the link if you want to check it out.

Take A Hike Ike! Continued....

Well, the southern eyewall was worse than the northern eyewall. The wind gust were over 100 mph. Hooters, 61st Street Pier, Balinese Room, Mermaid Pier, and Murdochs were destroyed. The Flagship Hotel driveway was washed away and part of the hotel wall is missing. I am still waiting to hear more about the west end of the island. That is the area where we stay. The strand is still flooded with over 4 feet of water. I found a live webcam of Galveston. The pictures were from yesterday before the Ike hit.

This is the Strand, it would only give me part of the pic, but you can see how bad it was flooding before the hurricane hit.

Thanks so much Ike.

I can't believe the damage Ike has already caused and it is not even here yet! The strand is flooded, the west side of the island (where we stay) is flooded, and the water is over the seawall. PLEASE PRAY FOR GALVESTON!

So it's 2:45 AM and I'm checking everyone's blog for updates. Anyway, one of my favorite movies is on, Something's Gotta Give. It is the best movie ever made! It makes me laugh every time! On another note, I know yall are waiting on a New York blog. I'm getting some other pictures from Lindsey this weekend. I will work on it as long as IKE doesn't knock out my power. Please everyone pray that Ike doesn't take out Galveston. That's my favorite vacation spot!

The Diva Dog

I went to Target today to check if the Halloween decorations were out yet. They finally got a few dog costumes in stock. You are not going to believe what I found! A hot pink dog wig! OMG! I knew Callie wouldn't wear it, I just wanted to take some cute pictures. I took Callie to my parents house and tried the wig on all the dogs. It is so freakin cute and funny! Here are some pics, enjoy!
